How do you take fake nails off without going to the nail shop?

or how much does it cost go get them done at the nailshop? How do you take fake nails off without going to the nail shop?
You can either go to the shop

they will normally charge about

half the price you paid to get them done

or you can take them off yourself

You need to use Acetone

you can find acetone in nail polisher remover

you must make sure that it says acetone on it

as not all of them contain it

soaking it in this alone

will eventually make the nails come off

however it along process

what you should do is get two conatiners

1 small but big enough to fit all of your finger tips in

(a glass one would be ideal)

and one bigger conatiner that can fit the other one in it

what you have to do is

put hot water from the kettle in the bigger conatiner

and the acetone in the smaller conatiner

you than put the smaller conatiner

in the bigger one

soak your figgers in the one with the acetone

This will then soften your nails

give it a few minutes to work

and keep some kitchen roll near by

so that you can wipe off the acryllic from your nails as it begins to soften this should be done about every 5 minutes

It should take about 20 minutes to get it all off

Ive been doing my nails none stop for over 3years

Good luck

buy a nail polish remover with acetone, soak your nails for at least ten minutes, then use an orange stick to prize off the softened nail. you may need to soak several times.

that's all they do at a salon anyway so save your cash.
You get some acetone or fingernail polish remover and put it in the cracks of your nails and wait a little while and you can just peel them off
You can do it yourself but it takes some work. Don't rip them off!! You can really hurt yourself. What I do is buy acetone to soak them in. Its the same thing from a salon. You can get it at a beauty supply store or wal mart. Soak them until the nails are pretty much completely off. They'll turn to a jelly substance. Then when your hands are dry, buff them until smooth. Otherwise you can go to get them taken off, it's like twenty to thirty dollars.
Take them off yourself by soaking them in acetone nail polish remover. It will take a long time but after they have soaked its easier to use nail clippers or a something else to slide underneath the acrilic and rip them off.

If you go to a nail salon to take them off it cost between $10-$20. It may cost more but its less painfull and much faster
It costs $5-$10 where I live. It's cheaper if your get them nipped off. But if you want to wait longer and less painful get a soak-offf.
