  • What is the average price of getting a french manicure at a nail shop?

ohh and how long do you think it will last ..because todays Saturday and next Friday is this huge party..i was thinking of doing it mabe Wednesday? What is the average price of getting a french manicure at a nail shop?
its between 20-30 where i live which is Ky.They need filled in every 2 weeks, so have them done around Wednesday. That way you will have time to get used to them but they won't need to be filled in yet.Have fun at your party. What is the average price of getting a french manicure at a nail shop?
probably about $10 and if you dont do anything to mess them up it lasts a week or two.
I usually pay around 20 plus a tip. Wednesday should be good but don't expect the polish to last more than a week without chipping.

Whats the best way to keep nails clean and looking nice without going to the nail shop?

I can't afford to always get my nails done so I need some tips on how I can keep mine looking nice and fresh. Their pretty long so they get dirty easily.Whats the best way to keep nails clean and looking nice without going to the nail shop?
I would suggest a nail brush, a good buffer and some cuticle oil. I am in the same boat as you, and I just scrub my nails with a nail brush once a day (I am a nanny, so I am always subjecting my hands to dirt and grime), and then everynight before bed I buff with a four sided buffer. It can almost double as a nail file, and because it has a finer grain, it makes your edges much more smooth. I buff my entire nail, and then after I finish all of them, I wash my hands, apply a coat of revivanail (it keeps your nails strong and clear polish always looks nice), and then will apply some cuticle oil if my cuticles aren't looking to good. Doing this will keep your nails clean, healthy and strong, and the only pricy product is the revivanail, at about 10 bucks, but the bottle is big and will last forever. If you don't want to invest in any of the above products, just wash your nails, and keep your hands moisturized, because the dryness will cause your cuticles to peel, nails to be brittle and hands to look like zombie hands!!Whats the best way to keep nails clean and looking nice without going to the nail shop?
in ur free time....sit aside.....take a nail buffer n strt workin on ur nails....tht gives em a smooth shiny look.....thn apply on a good coat of nail polish.....n also try keepin ur hands ever fresh....do some massage by some moisturizr...or body lotion wht evr u feel ok...its not jst ur nails tht does mattr...but ur hands shud look soft n beautiful....
use a white stick made for nails
    clip %26amp;wash your nail s
*I like to use a simple pair of tweezers with an angled edge to clean out under my nails. (be sure it's not a very sharp tip, or you'll poke yourself!)

*I love Sally Hansen Nail products.... they have a great 5 minute manicure kit. It's the best!

*I'm not sure what it's called, but I have this little rectangle buffer. It has 4 sides with different types of files. One sands, buffs, one smooths, and one shines. Cheap and pretty results. Find it in the beauty/nail department of walmart or a drugstore.

    Hope this helped some!

Is it illegal to have a dog in a nail shop?

My sister owns a nail shop and her french bulldog occupies her everyday. An inspector came in and told her that it's illegal and if they catch her again with a dog in the shop, she's going to get a huge fine. We live in Louisiana. So is it true? I find it impossible to believe since that's HER shop and it's not a food restaurant or anything. Is it illegal to have a dog in a nail shop?
It all depends on the local ordinances, just because it is her shop and there is not food still doesn't make it safe because of the exposure to the public. If I were you I would take the advice of the inspector because he probably knows the zoning laws. You could do some research on your own regarding the local zoning law, but will probably come out with the same outcome. Is it illegal to have a dog in a nail shop?
business owners aren't permitted to do as they please. it is the responsibility of the inspectors to uphold local ordinances. the inspector has nothing to gain by ignoring the laws.
    I don't know.

Do DOGS seem very hygenic to YOU?

Come eat at my restaurant. We have a St. Bernard as a mascot.

How can I manage a nail shop from distance?

I have been interested in owning one or more nail shops somewhere in California and/or Virginia, but I am currently living in the U.A.E. How can I manage the business without being there? How can I manage a nail shop from distance?

Can someone work in a nail shop and just do nail art?

I am about to start school next month. I'm going to get my Nail Tech license. Right now I'm having a hard time financially, the only thing I am really good at is doing nail art. Is it possible for me to be able to work in a nail shop and do nail art?Can someone work in a nail shop and just do nail art?
Sure it's possible. It just depends on if the shop wants to hire a person just to do one thing. Maybe you could be willing to do pedicures as well. Where I go they do have one person who just does that. Check around %26amp; get your name out there. Good luck!!Can someone work in a nail shop and just do nail art?
I don't think so because you will need a license but when you get it I am sure you will do a very good job at it. Go for it! :)
