yeah the girl was just a meanie weanie! she was TOO rough and cut with the nail filer my hand skin! now i am marked 4 life! and she rushed it to much and she made my artifical nails thick and i said ';thin please.'; is there any way i can sue the shop? thankxIs there any way i can sue the nail shop?
Only if you incur medical bills because of your injuries. If you do have medical bills, you could sue for the amount of your medical bills. But, judging by your description of the incident, it sounds like you only have a minor cut. The cost of a lawyer would probably be more than the cost of taking care of your injuries.
Forget about the lawsuit and take this as a life lesson. Just don't go back to the shop and tell all your friends not to go there either. You may also want to talk to the management about the lady being nasty to you. If other people have complained in the past, she may get fired! Is there any way i can sue the nail shop?
nope you cant sue someone for being a bit*c
I'd say don't waste your time suing them because you'd probably lose. I would speak to the owner regarding the poor job on your nails and the cut. You can probably get your money back or your nails redone by a different girl there as compensation. Put some Neosporin on the cut and I'll bet you'll not even have a scar. Good luck!
I don't know what state you are in but most states have a board of cosmetology or something along those lines, probably found under consumer protection.
In California, and many others, you have to go to school for a certain amount of hours and then go to the state board to take a test. They regulate all the salons and the licensed nail and hair people.
I don't know if you can sue, and if they did anything wrong. They obviously aren't supposed to cut you, but if they do they must treat it properly. You can't do anything about them not doing the nails the way you wanted. The state will only deal with health concerns and such.
But you can file a complaint against them and the state will check it out and see if they did anything wrong. If so, they may be fined and you may recieve money for what they did.
As for the thickness of the nails you need to ask them to redo it the way you asked. But all nail tech do nails differently, you need to find a place and tech that does them how you like.
not really. you just have to deal with it.
what is the sueing?
just go there and demand a 麓remake麓or you can first complain her to a bureau
Of course you can sue. Anyone can sue anyone else any time they want. I think your real question is ';can I win such a lawsuit?';, and I think the answer would be a definite no.
There's really no permanant damage and you won't be in chronic pain, so you can't sue. That's extreme for this situation.
Basically, it's like you got a bad haircut at a salon, and didn't complain to the manager after. When you expect a service done a certain way, and it doesn't work out how you want, you need to speak to the manager right away. Unless you do this, nothing can be done. Just give the place bad word of mouth ... that hurts businesses a lot. You also shouldn't have paid the full price. That could have been negotiated with the manager as well.
You can always report them to the Better Business Bureau, although, I don't see anything happening with that either.
These things happen at least once or twice in our lifetime. It's just how you determine the good places from the bad. Just learn from the situation and move on.
Oh, Waaaaaaa! Get over it. Complain to the manager and next time have a different person do your nails, or go to another shop.
Here's an idea....maybe save $30 and do your own nails. (You know that putting fake nails on all the time damages your real nails, don't you?)
Demand to speak to the manager and try to get her fired. I don't think you can sue because you didn't need to go to the hospital did you??
Its probably not worth sueing them, cause that would be a long process. You should call and ask for the manager and tell them what happened and see if they will either give you your money back or redo it for you.
She was negligant, becuase in hurting you she never done her duty, her duty is not to hurt you. So if you do sue the shop you are not going to get much money, a judge may even laugh you out of court. You should try a solve this through a mediator. Or even better go to the shop and tell them that if they don't give you free nail treatments for life you'll sue. I've business law, so I know what I'm chatting bout. It is better to sort these kinda issues out, out of court. Court is expensive.
My advice to you is to go to a salon or nail studio and let a professional get a visual. So maybe visiting a local salon where nails are done, go in and ask them just to take a look. If the nails are causing you physical pain still, and if there is broken skin, go to a doctor to have them removed. If no skin is broken, go to any drug store and get Sally Hansen's Qwik-Off, which will take the nails right off, don't leave poorly done nails on your natural nail. Hope that helps and good luck.
of course you have the right to sue---we all have that right
however, you will need a good lawyer and most want a couple thousannd to help and then a percent of your wins if you win the judgment
i would first contact the manager/owner of the nail shop and see if they will give you a full refund for the service and also maybe some free polish and such
yes you can.im in cosmetology and we are not allowed to be that rough with our clients. If state board was to come through randomly and see a nail artist doing that their liscense would be revoked.
no, but you can demand a refund, if they are a family owned shop then you should be able to sue but it is most likely that if no one lost their life then the nailshop will win.
ya i wish i could sue the nail shop to they like dont wash there supplies the lady cut my cuticles, and she was working on three people at once, like at the same table, i didn't even know the other girls, i would have perfered to have one on one service where i dont have to wait in a chair 30 min then have them painted for 5 then wait 30 min ect. but ya and i wanted a flower on my like finger next to my pinky on my left hand, and i had a flower there already from another nail place, the lady just reused the same gem things, and i said umm if i am paying for this can i have at leat a new flower, and she painted it on worse then my little baby sister would, the whole thing was all over the place and it didnt look like a flower at all, so then i got really mad and the lady was like gosh how hard do you expect me to work and i was like alot because i am paying you freaken 38 dollars
try taling to them and if that doesn't work give them another chance then you'll no
Suing will cost you more that you will get.
Just go back and make someone else do it, or demand your money back. I hope you kept the receipt!
